A pack of playful lion cubs caused a mini snarl-up by wrestling in the middle of the road. Husband and wife Anton and Michelle Campbell-Harris filmed the adorable scene in Kruger National Park, South Africa. The big cats had been sleeping on the sun-warmed tarmac overnight and weren’t yet ready make a move. And as traffic in the park built up the pride caused a tailback of excited sightseers.
Lions spend much of their time resting and are inactive for about 20 hours per day. Although lions can be active at any time, their activity generally peaks after dusk with a period of socialising, grooming, and defecating. Here is a prime example of their behaviour.
